Group Photography Exhibition

Exhibited from March 5 – April 5, 1980, the Group Photography Show curated by Alice Beck-Odette showcased work by five SVA alumni. Stewart Paul Martin’s photos sought to ‘give evidence of human presence through the use of symbols’; Leo Murphy documented the lives of the mentally disabled; Steven Erle infiltrated Studio 54; David Lubarsky investigated the relationships between adults and children; and Max Ramirez excerpted works from his collection, For Boys and Girls, photographs from a summer camp in Connecticut.
